Phil's previous experience includes 5 years of work in real estate and building construction and several years of involvement in the health and safety program and maintenance inspections for a major distribution company. In 2007 Phil attended Kaplan school for Home Inspections known as Inspection Training Associates (ITA). Phil then took and passed the National Home Inspector Examination which is a requirement in other states that require licensure of home inspectors. Phil is a Certified member of ASHI and participates in contining education with both. Phil's initial training in 2007 was over 120 hours and he maintains 24 to 40 hours a year of continuing education. Phil has been inspecting residential properties for over 5 years.
